Uber support is useless

I lost my phone in an uber yesterday and tried to contact the driver within 5 minutes after the trip ended. The trip history had only the drivers name, no number plate ,no contact number. We called the support line and we're advised that we must wait for the driver to contact us , they will send him a message. They can only help reach the driver after 24hours like how will that help. My phone is probably in another province. I realized uber isn't as safe as they claim. They do not prioritize their clients and their system only works to protect their drivers. Uber is just trash.
