Uber *****.

So on the 25th of August 2021 I took an Uber to a friends place. The driver was paid R 74.00 (excluding tip) and that was the end of that.

Today, 22 November 2021, I open my banking app and review my transactions only to find that Uber debited my account with the R 74.00 from that tip on the 18th of November 2021.

I contact Uber on Facebook Messenger and advise them of the situation and the reply I get is as follows:

"Hi Eniel, happy to help.

We've reviewed your trip details and unfortunately, as this trip was completed more than 30 days ago, we are unable to review your fare.

After your trip ends, we'll always send you a receipt for your trip as soon as possible. If you feel a future trip requires a fare review, please contact us as soon as possible after it ends so that we can assist you."

NICE!!

So they can take money 85 days after a trip, but since the trip was longer than 30 days ago, they can not correct their mistake.

I WILL NOT BE USING UBER AGAIN.
