Uber rides collection service stole my goods!

We used uber rides to collect goods from our supplier and deliver to us. After delivery it was clear that one laptop was not there. We unfortunately had to wait until today (Monday) to get confirmation from our suppliers that all the goods were in fact collected by the uber driver, which they confirmed was the case. So how can we trust uber rides with goods collection if our goods get ******?? I'm very disappointed with uber rides and this after we have been loyal customers for months now. Will not trust them again and most definitely will not suggest anyone else to use their collection service at all.
