Uber ride cancelled by a driver yet charged R25 to compensate the driver

Highly dissapiinted with my uber request this afternoon, My last uber ride from Sandton 115 West st to 107 11th street Patkmore, got cancelled by the driver not me yet im being charged R25 compensation for the driver....i shoild be compensated for the inconvenience. I would like my money refunded cause this is thievery at its best. What makes me so inhapoy is that this seems like an easy way to make money for the driver, he doesnt drive the distance bit still make money. Driver details: Toyota Corolla FR80FDGP he accepted 5:39 and cancelled 5:49.
