Uber refuses to #paybackthemoney

I discovered to my horror that Uber debited my account for rides I did not take to the tune of R9700. I contacted support and all I got is that they did some security checks and the person is related to me. None of my family members used Uber so this person is definitely not related to me. They refuse to tell me how my card information was compromised and who is responsible for this. More importantly, they refuse to #PayBackTheMoney. Subsequent requests on the app support for feedback is flatly ignored. Hopefully someone at #Uber SA will assist.
