Uber protects the ********s that work for them

On 11 May I used Uber. During the ride I used my phone to send a message that I am on my why home. When I got home my phone was gone. I contacted Uber they said the driver said it is not with him. If I have a problem I should take legal action. I used Smart Things to trace the phone to an address in Tembisa. I gave the information and print outs to Uber that simply stated I need to take legal action action. This is deliberate ploy since they hope you will give up and not take legal action while they protect the ********s that drive for them. I went to the police station and got a case number. Also a slow and frustrating process. When I sent it to Uber they simply responded that the conversation on their side was closed and will therefore do noting. I want and need my phone back. Uber simply hides behind a general response of legal action and the fact that they employ third party drivers and noting is their responsibility. Sorry it does not work like that. If you send someone to pick me up and drive me around I need to know it is not a common ******** that you are protecting while making money. Uber is banned in many countries and I think we need to consider this as well if they support ********ity.
