Uber package driver stole my parcel

Tonight, I requested an Uber package. The driver picked up my parcel and never delivered it to my worker. The driver claims that there was no one waiting at the drop-off. My worker waited there for an hour. The uber driver has my number as well as my workers number. Why did he not phone either one of us?

When I phoned the Uber driver to ask where my package is, his words were: "I am home, you can come and fetch it. I am not driving all the way there."

Did he even drive to the location?
