UBER no support!

If you google customer service for UBER you are given a number, a number that tells you that you can log a query on the app - what if I lost my phone with access to that number and email address???? I sent a request and received confirmation of this but to this date nothing has happened! I needed to report my phone that was left in the uber? Yes it is not your responsibility but what kind of service are you providing but not even being able to contact the driver for me as I was unable, surely a big company like Uber could do that, but no such luck, no even a message or notification of anything done!
