Uber is not safe - *******

Hi, My name is Whitney , 2 weeks ago i was with family got a Uber from Ormonde Mc Donalds to Florida. This was at 3 in the morning . The driver Got there and then asked if i could give the cash for petrol. I then said yes then we went to the garage opposite the Mc Donalds and he put the petrol in. we then left . I then asked if he could please charge my phone, i remember saying to my Nephew i cant loose this phone as it is a company phone. i fell asleep on the way home, he still said he knows the area where we stay , so fell asleep on the way. Finally got home safe and then got out , as i was about to open the complex gate i realized my phone is on charge in the car, i then ran after the car , at this time there was no one in the street , he then drove so fast and eventually was gone. i then went home got my mom to call my Cuzin as he was the one that booked the Uber. Told him the story , he immediately sent a message on the uber app. no response.. The Saturday we tried calling the phone and it was on voicemail... Sunday Nothing.. Monday came and my phone was on suddenly , i then called and called , but it rang and then after a few rings it would be rejected...I then put a complaint on the Uber Johannesburg Facebook page and asked for a number or address. Got a response from a guy claiming to be from the head office. He then promised to help me, and told me to not worry he will get my phone back. I called him every day and he kept telling me he is busy working on it. Its been 2 weeks now and he is now not responding to my messages or phone calls. This is terrible for us woman because we think Uber is safe and reliable and that they are loyal.. But clearly they are not. I only had this phone for 2 weeks , brand new. I now have to buy another phone as we must have phones at work. Please help. My contact number ********** .
