Uber incident September 2018

Good day I was hoping someone can assist me as I have had no joy from the mentioned company. My son had an incident with Uber in September 2018 where he and a friend were accused of *******. It was such an embarrassing moment for me as a mother and a very heart wrenching moment for 2 teenagers. I'm talking about being charged, spending a day at the police station, being held in a cell while in school uniform, appearing in court in front of a judge so many times, missing out on exams and then failling a final exam due to not writing a main subject. I have had no joy from anyone from Uber to dept of education and eventually took my son out of the school he was in as he had to repeat a grade. So all this trauma we had to endure coz of an accusation. The case was withdrawn as the driver who accused them were no where to be found... He went missing and to top it off, the first day of this happening we already figured out that tge whole situation was absurd. Nothing came of it and no one provided us with answers. Kindly advise what do I do?
