Uber G(rief)ift card joys

<p>These guys customer care is usually stellar but my recent problem is becoming a nightmare. I recently discovered uber gift cards and thought this would be great option as I don't have to carry cash every time I use the service. Actually funny thing is I have to pay cash after trip even though I had selected to use the credits before starting trip. I have now resorted to taking a screenshot to prove that I did actually select uber gift card credits as payment and refused to pay cash at the end of the trip then email them. Every time I get one of three generic responses. </p> <p> </p> <p>My my problem is it feels like no one is taking this seriously and i wonder if uber is paying the drivers for the trips at the very least. Am I the only Tomas with this problem?</p>
