Uber forcing card payment and blocking cash trip requests for trips even when I only have cash

My Uber app keeps VERY REGULARLY FORCING me to use my card on trips! All the damn time! I was stranded last night at around 9pm as I missed the last gautrain, so I then had to Uber home and I only had CASH! I tried to request a cash trip numerous times and it refused to let me use cash and kept telling me to use card, which I didn't want to because it didn't have enough funds, as I had cash. So now I was basically STRANDED at night, on my own, in park station because my Uber app wouldn't let me use cash! This is ridiculous, inconvenient and dangerous! So if I'm stranded somewhere with only cash I'm in deep **** then?? What kind of app forces card payments to the extent that it blocks you from requesting???? And when I called them they basically told me they can't help or do anything about it!! Imagine!! What's the point of using an app that IS NOT CONVENIENT and also makes it difficult to reach out for help??? And this was not the first time it happened
