Uber effectively stole my money

This happened TWICE: Uber charged me for a trip that never happened. The money was deducted +- R500 and it said "Finding Your Driver". It did NOT connect me with a driver and then said something like "There are no drivers, I hope you ride with us again soon". No refund was issued and the call center just hung up after the automated message said something about not having support in my area. This is ludicrous, how DARE they charge me and not send a car or give me a refund. Damn *******! I will never use uber again. Disgusting. I have since disputed the transactions through my bank. I hope the DSS compliance people shut them down.
