Uber Eats Cancellation Flaw: Doesn't allow customers to cancel and reorder unless the restaurant cancels the order.

Last night we ordered through Uber Eats, the time of delivery repeatedly extended but we could not order elsewhere while this order remained unfulfilled. The restaurant cancelled the order 1 hour later as they could not locate a driver. By the time they did so most restaurant kitchens had closed or were closing. Horrid system, they should have a time limit to fulfil the order and then give the customer the option to cancel.
