Uber drivers not willing to do short trips

I am now really getting beyond frustrated and so is my wife.

We rely on Uber to get my wife around while I am at work. But what is worst is when it is a Doctor appointment or so that is very critical.

My wife orders Uber and it is a short trip of R40 or below. The Uber driver on the map is 15 minutes away and they plainly do not want to do the short trip. They will sit their and waiting on us to cancel the trip. They will even call now and again after 5 minutes of waiting to cancel the trip.

We actually had an emergency and we had to wait 2 hours to finally get an Uber driver that was willing to help.

Uber can you please correct this somehow cause we had to cancel a crucial doctor appointment today cause of this behavior from your drivers.

Either get them of the system or do a distance calculation thing for the Uber drivers that is willing to do the short trips.
