Uber drivers keep items left in their vehicles and no service from customer care

Terrible experience with Uber and it’s call centre operators We left a school bag in a Uber in Pretoria east on Friday 5 November- driver Meluleki (Toyota Corolla) Have been trying for longer than a week to get any response to retrieve bag and contents. Uber call center (Abdullah) has been absolutely stone walling and is no help at all. Surely uber can contact the driver to make contact with client or a driver can make contact- we have had nothing and Uber policy seems to condone the Uber drivers just keeping items left in the vehicles- will now open a case of theft which Uber call centre actually encouraged rather that doing something/ anything from their side
