Uber driver with uncontoleable temper

I was being collected from a doctor’s surgery with a pharmacy on the premises as the only businesses. The Uber driver became verbally abusive when I asked him why he did not stop in front of me to which I showed him with arm movements. Instead he drove right past me and turned right leaving me standing and having to walk to the car. I am 74 and have walking difficulties! He was collecting me from a doctor’s surgery! After getting into the car and trying to explain why I wanted him to stop in front of me, he became rude and aggressive. I asked him why he was talking to me like that and when he continued, I made the huge mistake of saying “are you talking to me like this because I am white? He went into an immediate rage, demanded that I get out of the car and said he had cancelled the trip. I told him it was not cancelled and I could therefore not book another trip. He was in such a rage, walking around the car screaming and shouting into his phone, saying he was going to call the police, refusing to look at my phone as I was showing him it was not cancelled. I said cancel the trip and I will get out. He screamed “f…you” many times. Nurses from the surgery and people from the pharmacy came out and watched the whole thing. Eventually I got out of the car and the nurse helped me cancel the trip and book a new one. I was charged R33 cancellation fee. I contacted Uber about this and after being told I had cancelled therefore the fee I finally made a complaint about the driver and the fee was refunded. However I am not satisfied with Uber’s reaction after I reported him. It seems to come from an AI response! The driver reported me for saying something bad and I responded to that. Again it seems I got an AI response. This is totally unacceptable and this driver must not be allowed to drive for Uber. His temper is huge and a danger to anyone in his car. What if he got angry with another driver on the road?
