Uber driver ****med me

I booked a trip with Uber yesterday and was ****med by a driver named Thami. The trip was from my house in Brackendowns Alberton. The driver never fetched me and my family but claimed he did and I was charged for the trip. When the driver didn't arrive I sent him a message and phoned numerous times but he never answered. If he is telling the truth why did he not answer my calls. I complained to Uber and asked for a refund and they said they would not refund me. I have asked for proof and the drivers details and they have not responded. I will be laying a charge against both Uber and the driver for *****. Do not use Uber - the drivers are ************ and there is no proof of a trip other than the drivers log. He can make the trip with or without you in the car and there is no other proof you took the trip. Absolutely disgusted. We ended up driving ourselves to the destination after waiting for the driver for 40 minutes and then receiving a confirmation that the trip is complete and the amount deducted from my card even though if you check my location through my phone I was still at the collection point.
