Uber driver insulted me and accused me of looking like a hijacker this morning. JHB South Africa

I write this with a broken heart. In the early hours of this morning around 04:50, I along with a close friend requested an Uber ride from Newtown to Maponya Mall. The driver was initially rude to me when I asked for his assistance in using a voucher worth R200 gifted to us by AXE as part of the #PartyOfTheYear which took place last night (by the way, it was my first time using Uber this morning).

The driver confused me and my friend, agreed to take us to Maponya Mall and said we would solve any issues arising when we arrive at our desired destination. He immediately drove us all the way to Boysens SAPS Police Station. He deserted us there, saying that he thinks we are going to harm or hijack him, all based on the way we are dressed.

We were left stranded at 05:25 with no money for transport and had no choice but to walk back to Soweto. Along the way, we had to evade ********* who chased us down the streets of Robertsham, south of Johannesburg. This absolutely broke my heart as a new customer and I cannot express the trauma we endured today. I don't recommend Uber. Worst and most insulting customer service I have ever received in my life.
