Uber driver has my phone

On Saturday I requested a ride from Sandton to Northriding. I realized I left my phone in the Uber. I could not call him because the phone I requested a ride with is the phone that is left in the car. I called my phone with my friend's phone the driver answered my phone and he said he will bring in 30 mins. Hours passed and he did not come. We kept on calling my phone it was ringing. After a while when we called my phone it went to voicemail. I assume it's because my phone was battery low so it probably switched off. On Sunday in the morning I took my brother's phone and went to my Uber app because brother's phone has my uber account. I informed Uber by the option of lost item. I contacted the driver it rang and it dropped. I even left a phone number for the driver to contact. It has been 48 hours with no answer but uber sent me a email saying the driver confirmed that he has my phone but the driver has not contact me. We have been waiting. What should I do. Did the driver ***** my phone because he is not communicating with me if I had his number I was gonna communite with him and even offer double the price of petrol to come to me. But I don't have his number. Uber sent him the number he is supposed to call. He has not called it has been 48 hours
