Uber double charge

On the 1 September I booked a ride with Uber for R153.00. Bolt was R189 for the same trip shenve me choosing Uber as the cheaper option. On completion of the trip I was billed for R206 first R153 and then R53 . After numerous emails they now claim that the R206 was the original amount before I confirmed the trip.. Why would I take the more expensive option? Why would I pay R206 if I could have paid R189. I need my refund
