Uber courier absolutely sucks

I am very disappointed in the uber service. I used the parcel service to deliver a package to my customer. The uber driver collected and 5 mins later i received a call from my customer thag she would not be available. I notified the uber driver on the app and let him know to return the items. I then cancelled the trip on the app. The uber driver stole my items and did not return them. Uber customer service absolutely sucks. There was no option to engage with the driver once the trip is cancelled. Nor is their and option to get the drivers number. You have to log a query with uber support using the help option. The query was responded to hours late. By which time the frozen foods which was my package has gone bad. I will now have to remake the order. I have lost 1200 rands as a result. Ive been an uber customer for years on end. I am highly disappointed. If you are going to offer this service than do it properly and have the appropriate support lines in place. I dont recommend using this service.
