Uber completely unreliable - don't use

I went to Linbro park and needed a ride back to Sandton. It was 9.30am. I engaged a ride on Uber, which said it would take 7 minutes to arrive. 10 minutes later the ride was cancelled by the driver. I engaged a second ride with exactly the same result. On the third try the first driver accepted the ride, and when I asked why he cancelled he cancelled again. Two hours later, when I had gotten to Sandton by other means, I still did not have a ride.

Linbro Park is not out of the way, so there is no excuse. Clearly Uber is completely unreliable and should not be used.

Such a pity, because it is a good and reliable service elsewhere in the world.
