Uber charges
I have been a loyal Uber customer for the past four years, as I rely on the service as my primary mode of transportation as I am a student and couldn't drive, so I basically use it almost everyday. Over this period, I have repeatedly encountered issues with being overcharged for rides, with amounts often being double the expected fare or random charges appearing on my card. Despite numerous attempts to resolve these issues, I am consistently referred to my bank, while Uber retains the funds.
Recently, I subscribed to Uber One, only to have the service canceled due to continuous erroneous charges. My efforts to contact Uber for resolution have been met with silence, which is particularly distressing given my financial constraints as a student. The lack of a responsive customer service center makes the situation worse, forcing me to interact with automated systems that provide no real assistance and there is no human to human interaction
This situation is so angering and unfair as it has caused significant frustration. I can no longer recommend Uber, except perhaps for cash trips, which are themselves inconvenient. My experience has been overwhelmingly negative, and I am deeply dissatisfied with the service. I really wish they wouldn't do this to their customers, especially because I am student hey.
