Uber charged me for a trip i did not take.

The Uber charged me for a trip i did not take. I requested an uber then my phone went off and could not see what was the driver's name, vehicle and it's registration therefore i made an alternative to travel. Apparently the driver arrived at the pick up point and there was no one to ride, then the driver continued with the trip and ended the trip 3 streets away from my destination then i was charged for that trip. I logged a trip dispute but i was told i will never be refunded.
