Uber charge more than they quote

Yesterday I booked an Uber lift and was quoted R130. I accepted the quote. The driver arrived promptly and took me to my destination.

Then I received an email telling me that I had been charged R160.

I queried this with Uber immediately. So far, they have refused to look at what happened in their system regarding the actual trip. Every response they give me is a lecture on how they think their system works and how to book a trip. Completely irrelevant, insulting, and a waste of everybody's time.

Be sure to take a screenshot of the quote you receive from Uber, and compare it against the actual charge. Seems to me they have been ripping people off for some time now, maybe internationally, although it could just be confined to South Africa.
