Uber changing price mid trip and overcharging up to 5 times quoted price. from R35 to R143

I selected a 3km ride and was quoted R35, however on arrival the app said i had to pay R143. Efforts to get help where futile as their support seems AI managed. i only got a R5 refund instead of R108 that i was overcharged.
