Uber app overcharge is beyond their control everyday

Uber is okay generally and the cars are okay.

However they are dishonest in their charging, the final pricing is always higher than the initial because of their underestimation of time to destination.

If the driver drives slower on the freeway, they charge the client. They charge the client when the driver opted for a high traffic route because it took longer to arrive.

Basically the client is overcharged because the app fails to detect traffic and distance on the initial request.

That is poor technical ability in the day of AI and matured analytics.

A guaranteed price for service is lacking. The client cannot be charged just because the app guide is inaccurate.

They even agree that it’s beyond their control. They should invest in their infrastructure and technologies.
