Uber allows drivers to commit crimes using its platform. Be very weary of using this service

On 21/08/2021 I called an uber ride to collect groceries from my brother at Parkview shopping Centre in pretoria. The Uber driver (Norman, in a silver Etios, and I also have registration number), picked up my groceries from my brother and proceeded to the trip. He came to my house, when he got to the house, he made a u-turn, stopped the trip and left with my groceries. In less than a minute. I am assuming he completed the trip to bluff the app. I have him on video. I then tried to call him via the "I lost an item" option and he did not pick up my calls. I logged a call with Uber and was told that their special team will contact me within 24 hours. That never happened till today, despite several calls and messages to Uber. I even reported the profile but nothing. The uber driver eventually answered my call and shouted at me telling me he waited a long time and that's why he left (less than 69 seconds) and he dropped the call. I lost R2500 of groceries and Uber has done nothing about this, the driver is still on their platform. After clearly *****ing my groceries. It has since materialieased that the same car, with same registration number is a ****** / recovered car, is not registered to anyone and has a pending ******** case associated to it in Centurion. This information was also brought to the attention of Uber, who have since never responded to my reported incident. This driver in a ****** car, is using the Uber Platform and Uber could not careless. Who knows what else this driver gets up to, child trafficking, drugs, pure ****gery and Uber Is happy to allow this to go on. I have not had any contact from uber, except to be told that the special team will call me.use Uber at your own risk because this is what you will get or worse
