Is it just me? Why do I always get charged a different amount to what I requested? Uber can you please explain this!

My last recent trips, I request a trip, get connected to a driver, immediately Uber charge my account only for the driver to drop me off and the original charge reversed, now a new higher charge to my account. This happens with every trip!

Uber please advise, I would like to have a refund on the extra charges.
