Theft in an Uber

I forgot my phone in an uber in PE, immediately after realising this, I logged on to someone else's phone so I can be connected to the driver, that didn't work as the call kept being dropped, eventually requested another Uber so I can ask for assistance, the driver connected with the other drivers and partners through whatsApp and the driver was found, as soon as he was made aware of the phone, it went off and he claimed it was not in his car. When asked if he had other trips he said no. I have yet to hear from anyone from Uber even after I left a message on their FB page. My biggest problem is the difficulty I had to get a hold of Uber, what if it was a bigger emergency than a lost phone? I used uber because I knew that there would be accountability which amounted to zilch in this instance. Am very disappointed with them honestly
