Terrible service from uber

I requested a ride from uber to my workplace the driver that accepted my request phoned me informing me to cancel my trip because he is stuck on traffic after I had cancelled the trip the deducted amount was not reversed to my account I went to my uber app to get assistance on their Help portal but no one has gone back to me to assist what a terrible service
