Terrible Customer Service

On the 21st of January 2025, I booked an Uber to work as I do every morning, on this morning my Uber driver got pulled over by law enforcement and did not have a permit, the car got impounded and I had to cancel the trip as it could not be completed and I was stranded where the traffic cops pulled over the driver. I contacted Uber as the charged me for the trip, explaining the situation however they said the charge is valid and cannot be refunded. I'm so upset and disappointed as I could not complete the trip and it was not my fault the trip had to be canceled. I have been using Uber every day for months and yet they don't want to refund me for something that was not in my control and for something they should have had control over, as they should ensure that their drivers have all the necessary documents for driving.
