Surge Charging

<p>Good Day, On Saturday evening i was at Ultra South Africa, roughly half an hour before the event ended i logged onto to UBER to see roughly how much it was going to be to get home. It was an estimate cost of R210. When the event ended, we needed to get home and i logged on, and the cost had literally doubled, and went to about R450. I kept trying to re-request to see if the price would drop, it didnt. I refused to pay that as i think the surge charge is ridiculous and unfair to uber users that have no other way to get home. I decided to log on and see what your competitor TAXIFY would charge, we got home safely for R205. I think i will be using taxify going forward, as this is not the first time surge charging has been unfair from UBER.</p>
