Some Uber drivers are not to be trusted

I know I'm the one responsible for my items when i get inside in an Uber but sometimes it happens that you forget your items by mistake. I had an Uber trip Sunday morning and it happened that I forget my purse and my cellphone. I immediately contacted my cellphone because all my driver details were left in my phone and I did'nt share my trip because I didn't have network coverage. I contacted my phone almost 20 times till it was switched off. I then contacted Uber Support, they told me to wait 24hrs whilst they get in contact with the driver. They gave him my contacts the next day but he didn't bother to contact me, i kept contacting Uber support, the consultants kept telling me they did give the driver my details but he still didn't bother contacting me i guess he was still buying time. He confirmed with Uber Support that he has all my items yet he still took 2 more days to bring them and when he brought them he only gave me my purse and said he knows nothing about my phone.
