For Uber not to hold their drivers accountable for lost items in their vehicles is totally unacceptable. My wife forgot her for phone in the car hardly 2 minutes we called the driver and he was no longer answering his fone. Before he picked us up we called him because we couldn't see him and he picked up, so we know his fone was working. For Uber just to accept the drivers response that he did not see the fone and continue with life as normal is an insult to the owner of the lost item 19k worth. We take Uber because we deemed it safe and the drivers trustworthy so when such incidents happen and Uber sweeps it under the carpet is total bulls#it (for lack of a better word).
