Safety and ride length

<p>I loved Uber but I am very upset about the service I received yesterday.</p> <p>1. There was no safety belt available in the back. I was travelling with a child.</p> <p>2. The driver took a much longer route than necessary. He travelled from OR Thambo to Silverlakes Rd, via the N4. The ride was more expensive than what it should have been. I could have rather taken a taxi. I will do so in future if Uber cannot prove to me that their rides are safe and more affordable than taxi's. A taxi would have cost R400 - Uber was more and the fair estimate was not close due to the lonter path taken. </p>
