******* by deliberate poor route selection

I booked a trip for my sister in law for a trip from Fairland to Park Station this morning. A distance of approx 16,5km<br> <br> She rode from 08h48 which is off peak time. <br> <br> The most logical route to use at anytime is via Beyers Naude then onto Judith then Barry Hertzog and Smit which is a distance of 16,5km and takes about 30min.<br> <br> The driver deliberately decided to use the longest distance possible route via the N1 highway all the way to the Diepkloof interchange then N12 and M1, a distance of 30,92km and trip time of 58min and 34seconds,double the time and distance it would ordinarily take.<br> <br> I believe that this is quite unprofessional, and an unfair ploy to deliberately inflate the journey distance and fare at a client's expense as my sister in law is not too fami**** with Joburg and she would not question the driver. <br> <br> My wife earlier on in the morning booked a trip for my sister in law from Park Station to Fairland and the fare was R154 using the Beyers Naude route but I had to fork out R280 so that your driver can use a scenic route and unduly benefit.<br> <br> I am very unhappy and unimpressed by your driver's conduct and hold the view that I should be reimbursed the fare difference. <br>
