My wife and i use Uber quite frequently and i was very surprised/unhappy when she used Uber this morning and was charged R141 for a distance of 4.9km. She has used Uber many times for this route and the charge is normally R53. What with the sudden price inflation?

Very unhappy about this, and i feel that Uber just ripped me off. She used the Uber facility this morning as she had no choice.

If this is how Uber charges now, i doubt il use them again
