Registered Uber Driver or Not? - then people are being ****med at Cape Town airport

Shady UBER Driver by the name of Emmanuell! On 3 April 2026 I arrived at Cape Town airport and there was an Uber Driver holding out his cell phone indicating that he was an Uber Driver. He took me to Sea Point and I was rather surprised that he had not switched on the meter. When we arrived in Sea Point he calculated something on his cell and came up with an amount of R784! Normally it should cost about R180 I am told. I protested and he kept bringing the figure down. Eventually we settled at R380. Still way above the normal charge but he would not go down any further. I can just imagine how this gent deals with poor unsuspecting tourists.
