Refunds should reflect immediately

I booked a trip that was unfulfilled. A charge was debited against my account for a trip that never happened. On the app it said no drivers available. I tried again and finally got a ride. Is it fair that I should wait for my refund it’s a day later and what about people who don’t have any money. I honestly feel Uber should have an option to do an immediate refund if there’s no drivers.
