Recharging after a ride - no refund

It’s so frustrating that they give promos but recharge you late at night when you’re asleep. Its very shady. Why dont they just increase the trip fair during peak hours or rain so that their customers know the correct amount and is able to make use of alternative transportation if they cannot afford the trip fair.

I have complained about this 4/5 times already. They offer me a refund but I make use of an FNB virtual card and virtual cards cannot receive refunds on the cards as the CVV changes every hour hence i never received a refund back from Uber. The consultant from Uber support was extremely unhelpful and not willing to listen to this. Closed the chat before I could finish stating my concern and till this day, I have never received a refund from Uber or Uber eats because of the card type. I always think its saver to use a virtual card for online transactions so i will continue using this virtual card but I'm definitely deleting the app and cancelling my Uber one subscription!!!
