overcharged for a trip that cost between R20-R23

On the 8th of February 2016 I called uberX via the app. Before I requested the uberX I checked the fare estimate and it ranged from R20-R23. The distance is 1.7km as per Google maps and travel time is 4 minutes from Daan De Wet Nel Dr and Bokmakierie street to Burning Bush street in Akasia. The driver (Thomas Kwena) charged me R26.94 and said the time taken to travel was 8.88 minutes which is double. Moreover he also charged me for 2.04 km which still is not correct from the pick up place to the drop off. I queried and I was told (Joseph) the amount charged was correct and when I rep**** with questions as to why the distance and the time was not correct no one rep**** to me. Therefore I sent another email asking if clarification will be made but still no response.<br> <br> Best regards<br> Tshepo
