Overcharged, charged twice for the same trip

I had a cash trip, paid the driver R181 , 3 months ago, today money was taken from my account again for the same trip. I called uber to query this and they telling me it's more than a month ago so they can't do anything about it. They took my money today, how is that more than a month ago.
