Overcharge on trip

I've been using Uber since 2017 but with all the incorrect pricing and extra charges on trips it's becoming a headache. Drivers make stops to the garage and you end up paying almost more than 50% extra because of that stop. You message uber then they tell you sorry, price will not be adjusted. So who is the loser here? Us who use uber on a daily basis.
