Opposite of Uber?

<p>I am a regular Uber driver. </p> <p> </p> <p>I take an Uber - almost - everyday, to and from work. </p> <p> </p> <p>It's a great, easy concept and applaud the creators. </p> <p> </p> <p>However, not all is good and well regarding the service and "rules". </p> <p> </p> <p>I have had many good trips and some amazing drivers (one had an aux cord and asked me if i wanted to play my own music!)</p> <p> </p> <p>Some of the drivers are completely rude. </p> <p> </p> <p>I was charged a cancellation fee when a driver could not find my property (after i gave him directions) and could not wait any longer. I cancelled the trip with the hopes of the next driver finding me. No, same driver, same problem. </p> <p> </p> <p>I once did not have exact change and the driver said that he'd load the extra cash and I'd get that off my next ride. That never happened. Bye R13,00. Also not only the first time i had to give the driver a big tip when the service was not satisfactory. </p> <p> </p> <p>A driver has cancelled on me, just as i got the message that he was arriving at my property. No compensation for me or a discount for inconvenience. And the greatness of being late for work!</p> <p> </p> <p>This morning's trip took the cake. The driver called in asking me to confirm my pick up and drop off location. He was very off as I would not give him my details - sceptical as i have never been asked this via phone call. He then hung up on me as i did not give him my details (which he should have had). He called me 5 minutes later saying he'd be there in 25 minutes and the app said 13 minutes. I was late for work. Again. </p> <p> </p> <p>I asked him to please cancel the trip on his side as i did not want to be charged another penalty. He clicked his tongue and hung up on me. </p> <p> </p> <p>Really Uber</p> <p>Terrible service. </p> <p>I will find an alternative arrangement. There are other services around. </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
