On July 26, 2025, I took an Uber from Groove

On July 26, 2025, I took an Uber from Groove. During the ride, we were stopped by police from Hillbrow station. An officer saw an open alcohol bottle and threatened to arrest me despite my explanation. The driver, Enocent Manokwana, bribed the officer with R50 to let us go. The driver also paid a toll gate fee and later added both the bribe and toll fee to my fare. I tried reporting this via the Uber app but received no assistance.
