Multiple Charges for a trip untraveled

<p>Hi</p> <p> </p> <p>I used Uber about 2 weeks ago to travel from home to work. The normal charge is about R26 per single trip. I was **********ly charge for a trip i didnt take as the driver didnt stop the meter once i left the vehilce. I was billed for R624 for the trip. I then tried to contact Uber, who then only got back to me a week later to say that the charges will be reversed. Upon the reversal being done, only R436.30 was refunded. So i was still billed R187.70 for a trip that normally costs me R26.<br /><br />Further to my surprise, Uber debited my account again for R624 for the same trip as the application picked up that the amount was unpaid. I tried to contact Uber again to get both the previous and current issue resolved. But have not heard from them since. </p> <p> </p> <p>I have been using Uber daily for over a year and never had an issue, and have always boasted about how great the service is. I have had stop my bank cards due to the issue and hve moved to a new Cab service due to their appauling service. </p> <p> </p> <p>A response regarding the ********** transactions will be appreciated. </p>
