Missed Doctors Appointment because of bad app

I have been using uber for a few months and gave never had an issue. This morning I went to book for a ride to a doctor's appointment I have been waiting days for only for them to request a verification code for my mobile number, a number I have always used with them. No code was sent even when requested multiple times. Due to this I was unable to book a taxi and therefore missed my appointment. I will now have to wait another few days. I have STILL NOT received a verification code and have been unable to find a number to contact them on directly to request this as I have been very sick and desperately needed this doctors appointment.
