On the 1st of June, I requested an XL with a group of friends, I paid the driver full cash which was R226 as per the amount, we reached our destination with no problems we said our goodbyes with the driver. I’m not a regular uber user, so yesterday (13 of June) I logged on again on the app to request a ride and I’m demanded to pay R183 because apparently I did not pay the driver the full amount which is a big fat lie, the driver **** I paid him the full amount … we all know no black driver in South Africa will let you off without paying , he was definitely going to beat me up and worst case scenario kill me! Uber is the safest and I trust uber compared to the other apps and I’m very disappointed that I can no longer use the app till I pay this amount. I am being ****med ! I would rather stop using uber than to be ****med like this!
